Okay so I'm not actually a technophobe at all, I can work my way around pretty much any computer problem, as long as it's not too deep and involving code - I'm too scared I'll mess stuff up! But I'm having a major problem in getting my new R4i card to actually work. My friend bought me it as a present because she loves hers so much, but she of course figured I could work out how to work the thing, but I can't! I've downloaded the software and dragged and dropped it over to the card, there's no way to 'install' it as such, and that's what everything online has told me to do! I have games downloaded and waiting, but I'm stuck, it just won't work, the DS just won't register that any cartridge is in it! Photo: alexanderdrachmann (Flickr)
Aren't work clothes the worst? So boring! I always try and keep it stylish but sedate, so it's not too noticeable but still nice. But I get so bored! Suits and smart trousers are the worst! And what is with the size of work trousers these days? Whenever I try to buy a nice new pair of black work trousers, they're always absolutely huge in the leg. Like flares almost! Not boot-cut, no, though a lot of them claim to be boot-cut on the label, they are not at all, they are like bell-bottoms!

I don't mind paying a decent price for them either, but it seems the pricier and more high quality I look for the more ridiculous the shapes are. Now, clothes makers and designers know that skinny jeans are a big thing these days right? So why doesn't that transcend into trousers as well? Photo: Ed Yourdon (Flickr)
I'm hosting a summer party for work next week, and it's a really big opportunity for me. I'll be in charge of the running of the whole event on the night, and I've got to really prove myself to my bosses and the clients. I want to move up in the company so this might be an audition! I want to impress so I'm going to try and dress smart and sharp but not too overly formal. I think I'll wear a newish pair of Pepe jeans I bought recently, they're very dark and straight look nice and smart, and a summery floral top that's quite structured and fitted. I need a nice tailored fitted feminine blazer, so I think I'm going to try and shop for one this week. Then I can put on some nice comfortable heels and it'll hopefully complete the whole outfit. Getting involved with wildlife is not hard. Look no further than your own back garden! Putting up a bird table or Bird-Feeders is one step to attract new birds but how about a nesting box? What is amazing is that you can also by a handycam to go into the box and you can watch the footage it captures on your own TV. It is like Countryfile in your own living room! It is lovely to watch the eggs hatch and the mum coming back to feed her babies until they are fit and ready to fly away from the nest. The nest box cameras start at around £69.99 and you can keep reusing them year after year. A perfect gift for the family. Picture: tesco.com
